对于很少开口讲英语的中国烤鸭们而言，开口即为there be， I think, I think, I am 等等，让考官听个十几分钟，别说考官了，自己听久估计都觉得很boring，但是就是不知道如何去说，所以分数听也是必然的。

那为何题目为不难的长句呢？因为这是口语，不是作文，很多考生觉得越难，越长的句子越好，恨不得把阅读中看到的句子都背出来，但是这样反而比较weird，你想像一下谁喜欢和一个walking dictionary 说话呢？

1．连词的使用——连词在英语中的运用特别的多，我们只要用连词把简单句连接起来就已足够。

2．经典句型的试用——其实我经常和学生说，只要用到平时高中学到的句型，这样的句子说出来就可以了。

首先来看一下，连词的使用。

连词的使用无非下面这些，只要把这些用熟练，就可以说出不难的长句，显得很自然。

(1)举例

* like…

…and stuff like that.

…something like that.

take…for example,

for instance…

其实like 这个词比大家老用的for example,要常用的多。我自己平时举例其实80％都会用这个。

Eg：I like eating all kinds of fruits, like, kiwi fruit, apple, orange…and stuff like that.

Eg: I have a bunch of close friends, take Vivian for example, we’ve known each other for over 10 years.

(2)让步

even though…

even if…

as long as…

even if 表示即使的意思，even though表示的是尽管，as long as表示只要。

Eg：Even if I pass the exam, I still can’t afford the tuition, which is about 20,000rmb/ year.

Even though I’m on a diet everyday, I still don’t look good.

As long as I have advantages in language, I am not worried I’ll out of business.

(3)转折

but…

however,…

…,though

这里的though 不是放在句首的，是放句尾的，但是感觉很随意，意思嘛，就是but。

Eg：It’s definitely a hard work for me, I kind of enjoy it , though.

(4).因果

coz/cuz… = because = ‘cause

…so,…

…so that…

大家很喜欢用的therefore在口语中其实不常用的。最多在part3 中用到一到两次

Apart from…,…

Besides…,…

Plus,…

Eg: Besides hiking, I specifically enjoy camping during summer holiday.

写作中经常用的furthermore, 口语中没有以上几个常用哦。

经典句型的使用

一、定语从句经典系列

Sb/sth/sp is the kind of （person/place/thing…） who （which/that） is…

 Sometime is a day （occasion/the time） when you do sth.

Eg: My mom is the kind of person who is always has faith in me, I really appreciate that.

二、名词性从句经典系列

The reason why I （admire him/like the place…） is that +从句

The most important thing is that+从句

What I’d like to say is that +从句

Eg: The reason why I admire Steve Jobs is that he’s such a creative and yet a private person.

三、状语从句经典系列

I first got to know him/it when + 从句（过去式）

If I had the chance， I would like to… 虚拟语态

 If …， then it is quite possible that I will…

句型①套用实例：

Eg:

1. I first got to know him when I was studying in primary school.

I first read the story/saw the programme when I was visiting my grandparents three years ago.

I first learned how to skate/play basketball when I was in high

2．If I had the chance， I would like to travel to California and visit my best friend who I haven’t seen for ages.虚拟语气

Q： What do you usually do at weekends？

A： Well， it’s hard to say. I mean， if I am with friends， then it’s quite possible that we will go window shopping or traveling around. But if I am alone， it’s more likely that I will just stay at home and do some washing and cleaning.

当然，以上两种情境还可以变换成多种可能，比如按天气的状况可以分为If it is good weather， 和If it is bad weather; 按时间多少分为If I’ve got a lot of time，和If I am fairly busy; 等等。
